Sick and tired of finding some place to go dating? Hating the weekend crowds by the Orchard road? Or even getting jam on the highway not being able to make it to town in time? Here’s a solution where you can stay in with your partner and still have truck load of fun!
Bake A Something
Choose a recipe, go grocery shopping with your partner, head home and bake it together. It can be a cake, a tray of cookies or anything you can think of. Get your hands dirty! And make sure to feed each other once your final product is done!
Grab your favourite book, start narrating the first two sentences, and get your partner to continue their own versions. On the side note, choose two taboo words for each other. Whenever a taboo word is used, cheers and down that wine glass. To spice it up, record in voice note, once you hit 50 sentences, stop and replay to your twisted story together.
I know I know, it sounds so cliché! To have a movie night at home, but seriously. What beats cuddling and watching something together! Pick a movie each, get comfortable in PJs and cushions, and make sure to stock up your snacks! If there isn’t enough snacks, ice creams topped with your favourite toppings.
BigBox offers a huge range of snacks, especially at our Japanese Snacks section: Gyomu.
Do check them out for delicious and cute snacks.
Try singing a love song to your partner! Show them appreciation through the song lyrics. (Please choose your song wisely) Sometimes, it’s harder to get the words out as it’s too mushy and your words just don’t come together, but a song is a great idea. If you are more musically inclined, you could try doing a mash up!
Set down a picnic blanket and a basket of food and eat your dinner as though you were having a picnic. At least you don’t have to worry about the weather!
